Stick figures and Champs!

Well to start off, my roommates and I did an act in our ward talent show at the beginning of December. I got this idea from EFY from one of the variety shows. I knew once our ward did a talent show that we had to do this! So we got an interpretive dance from youtube and learned it and performed it! The reason why it was so cool was because we dressed in black and taped glow sticks on us in the shape of a stick person. We turned out all the lights and did our dance in the dark so it looked like stick people were dancing. Not gonna lie, it was amazing! And we got compliments for the next couple of days and were told it was the best act. :-) My roomies and I had so much fun doing it and really bonded. We practiced and had to run around Orem to find more glow sticks right before the show when we realized we didn't have enough. It was intense, but awesome! You can check out our performance on my facebook page posted under videos of me.

Another highlight of the semester was our intramural championship win! My coed basketball team Swisha House won our division in the intramural tournament! And we got t-shirts that say intramural champs! (which are pretty much coveted at BYU...haha!) But we had so much fun! The funny thing is that we didn't even win our first game without it being a forfeit until the we were in the tournament and then never lost a game! I guess it just took us a while to get comfortable with each other and our playing. The team wants to play again next year, but I'll be in DC doing my student teaching. Go Swisha House!

Swisha House!

Today I finished my last final of the semester. It wasn't too bad. It came to the point where I really just didn't care anymore, but don't worry, I still have awesome grades. :-) I'll find out for sure within the next few weeks, but I'm guessing around an 3.82 gpa. We'll see! Now I'm just working and heading out to Kaysville on Monday night to hang with the family for Christmas. And what is with the snow? It just keeps coming down! It's fine when you're in a warm house and don't have to leave, but when you're a college students who has to walk in the snow to and from school, brush it off your car everytime you use it because you don't have a garage, and freeze in your apartment because you don't want your utility bill to be high and just don't turn on the heater, then it's a little rough...
